My Approach to Contributions

On this page, I invite you to contemplate a world where all beings are valued for their unique gifts, and how, with the blessing of this human life, you can take a step towards creating an equitable reality that nurtures the growth in consciousness of all.

In service of this ideal, I created the Economic Equilibrium Sliding Scale, inspired by the delicate balance ☯️ that makes life on Earth possible 🌎. It encourages you to consider your economic capacity in relationship to those you financially support, suggesting a contribution that takes into account the comparison of your net worths (based on U.S. data). My age is 39 and my net worth percentile is 43. You can use this figure in the calculator to determine an equitable contribution.

If you’re unsure of a starting rate for the calculator, I suggest using the recommended rate associated with the service you’ve chosen, found on its description page. Alternatively, if you’re not receiving a specific service listed on the site, I’ve provided three default tiers to use as a starting point: Supported, Sustaining, and Supporter.
